Snorkelling and Diving
Boca Chica is a snorkeler’s paradise with crystal clear waters and a reef home to tropical fish. Divers can visit the La Caleta National Underwater Park complete with a number of wrecks to explore. This includes the wreck of Hickory, regarded as one of the top five places to dive in the world. The 144 foot long salvage ship is home to schools of red blackbar soldierfish and a dazzling array of corals and sponge life.
Golf Course
There are a number of excellent golf courses in the area, including Guavaberry Golf and Country Club in nearby resort town Juan Dolio, which includes a waterfall at the 13th hole.

Day Trips

Shopping
Although small, Boca Chica’s main shopping street has everything you need. One block up from the beach you’ll find a range of souvenirs including locally produced cigars and rum, as well as crafts and a handful of designer boutiques.
Deep Sea Fishing
Deep sea fishing is one of the most popular activities in the area, and Boca Chica is known as an excellent place to fish. You’ll find a number of large fish species, including swordfish.
